This 31,250 square foot machine shop and office building is designed to reflect the dynamic character of this business and utilize an architectural yet economical metal exterior finish. Featured Project: JR Custom Metal - 2237 S. West St., Wichita, KS
This two story, 80,000 sq. ft. office and manufacturing facility was completed in July 1999 and totally replaced their existing facility. The new building puts all of the companies manufacturing processes under one roof and greatly enhances the efficiency of their overall operation.

Architect David Haines designed the project, which includes first and second floor corporate and administrative offices, a full-length overhead crane system, a large paint booth and a separate machine shop for special projects and prototypes.

The building was manufactured by VP Buildings and features zinc gray embossed v-rib wall panels and a 24-gauge galvalume standing seam roof.

This project has been featured in VP Buildings Direct mail program and has won many design awards including the local Kansas Systems Builders Association 1999 First Award and VP Buildings 2000 Hall of Fame Award.
