Commercial and retail facilities come in all shapes and sizes and many times bring with them accessory buildings such as canopies, carwashes, storage buildings, walk-in coolers, and anything else you might imagine.

This variety of design challenges brings many opportunities to creatively take advantage of the pre-engineered structure.

Davis Liquor - 1406 N. Waco, Wichita, KS
This project is very unique in that it started with an abandoned convenience store with a red brick exterior.  We doubled the size of the building and completed a retrofit of the existing building to reflect a new and fresh image.  This project was on a very tight budget and a sensitive timeframe.  We were able to meet these requirements using the design/build process. Haysville Mini-Stop - 7200 S. Broadway, Haysville, KS
Since the new Haysville Mini-Stop was opened in 1995, it has done an unbelievable volume of business.  Serving the community with a convenience store, fuel, and an automatic carwash, the Haysville Mini-Stop is always busy.  Architect David Haines designed this project using pre-engineered structures, an exterior treatment of E.I.F.S and standing seam metal roofs. Featured Project: Wellington Super "C" Mini-Stop - West 8th Street, Wellington, KS

This project combines a convenience store, retail gas sales, a restaurant and a multiple car wash facility all at one location. The project was completed in April 1999.

This project was designed by Architect David Haines, the restaurant is based on a 1950's theme and the environment is very nostalgic to say the least. For convenience a separate canopy offers shade to car wash customers who want to dry their vehicles after washing.

VP Buildings manufactured the convenience store building system and the canopies were supplied by the Lane Company.

This beautifully designed project has won several design awards including the national Systems Builders Association 1996 Building of the Year Award and the local Kansas Systems Builders Association 1996 Citation Award - Retail Buildings.
